How do people know what is right or wrong?
When you were a childhood, you made mistakes and your parents scolded you.
Then, you could figure out what's wrong.
In other words, your morality is based on your parents' thoughts.
However, in certain period, children notice that it is not always right.
You find out parents, most close adults, also make mistakes.
At this stage, you start to build your own morality by your choice.
Usually, it is affected by your friends or people around you.
In the U.S., university students start to live in a dorm.
That means they cannot rely on their parents any more.
Of course, they rely on their parents financially but not emotionally.
Unfortunately, most Japanese students living in urban area live with their parents.
That causes many problems such as tendency to marry later or delay of psychological weaning.
So do I. I live with my parents as like a parasitic worn. I pay neither the rent nor the food expenses.
What am I talking about? Topic is about building morality.
Therefore, what I need to do is to live by my own sake and responsibility.
So, if you avoid the morality of your parents, you ought not to live with parents.
That's what I learned today from iTunes U of psychology class.
